inclusion

I believe everyone deserves to feel confident they belong in style. I welcome everyone to my colour analysis and personal styling services. Whatever your age, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability or other protected characteristic, I would love to help you build your confidence and knowledge.

If it is possible, please arrive with bare skin for colour analysis. This is because we are assessing your skin, not your current make-up choices. I realise this may feel uncomfortable, so I can provide make-up remover and pads when you arrive if needed - but if you have allergies or sensitivities please bring your own remover. If you will need to reapply make-up before you leave, please bring your own supplies.

You do not need to be clean-shaven for colour analysis - beards, moustaches and so on are not a problem.

Religious headwear need not be removed for colour analysis and is easily worked around. If it is possible and appropriate to wear a white option for any headcovering that is beside your face, this is helpful but not necessary - if allowable we can cover the front section with a white fabric headband, in the same way coloured hair is covered to prevent distraction. Such an important part of your personal identity will naturally be incorporated in styling services, aligned to your preferences and needs. If you have any modesty concerns or needs in attending my studio, please ask so that I can support you appropriately.

Street parking is available but cannot be guaranteed to be within a few metres of the front door - it is more often available during the day but could be a short walk away. You can be dropped off right outside the front door. Bus routes pass 3min walk away and trains are a short bus ride or 15-20min walk. My studio is on the ground floor, at street level. There are a total of 3 shallow steps along the path from pavement to threshold and no steps indoors - everything is on the ground floor, including toilet facilities.

If due to disability, caring responsibilities or other personal reasons, you have difficulty travelling to my studio in Twickenham for colour analysis or styling services, please get in touch and we can discuss options.

If you have any allergies, please do let me know. We own a friendly short-haired cat who roams freely, so if you have pet allergy concerns, please ask and we can discuss your needs.

Note that children under 16 are not recommended to choose the 16 sub-season colour analysis service because their skin tone is still changing relatively quickly so star colours and sub-seasons may move quickly too. A 4 seasons analysis should provide a useful guide for pre-teens and teenagers. If you would like to discuss colour analysis for these age groups, please get in touch.

I believe personal style should be affordable for everyone, especially since the overall aims are financially supportive. Goals include saving money by reducing mistakes, and boosting confidence - vital when attending job interviews and seeking promotion. The principles of personal style can be implemented at all price points, from second-hand stores, thrifting, clothes swaps and value ranges upwards. Therefore, for colour analysis or personal styling, I offer two 2hr spots per month for unwaged or low-paid individuals - all I ask is that you pay what you can afford. If you would like to access this option, please get in touch.

If you have any concerns around inclusion which I have not addressed here, or you have any questions, please get in touch.
